Cree's Camp along the banks of Cree Creek between the Garfield and Lily mines is a little known town settled by Alec Cree and named for him. He discovered the Song Bird Mine. Another nearby mine, the Mountain Chief was located nearby and was discovered by a Colonel Babcock.

About a half mile southeast of the site is a cabin and mine owned by a man named Jack McCoy. Between the two locations is the dump of a large mine, likely the Song Bird.

Today several ruins remain including Jack McCoy's cabin and more foundations at the site of Cree's Camp.
